Distance Learning: Java Support: Reset Java prompts and erase cache.

If the wrong Java "Update" was installed you must go to: Uninstalling unsuported versions of Java.

If you unintentionally "BLOCK" Java the following instructions will fix it.

Find the Java Control Panel, see links below for help.

Delete Temporary Files through the Java Control Panel

  1. In the Java Control Panel, under the General tab, click Settings under the Temporary Internet Files section.
    The Temporary Files Settings dialog box appears.
  2. Click Delete Files on the Temporary Files Settings dialog.
    The Delete Files and Applications dialog box appears.
  3. Check all three boxes.
  4. Click OK on the Delete Files and Applications dialog.
  5. Click OK on the Temporary Files Settings dialog.

All Java prompts have now been reset. Please see: Configuring Java for the supported web browsers.
